Located in the heart of Downtown Guelph, The Alma Gallery features a diversity of fine art work focusing on contemporary art. While the gallery represents the artists of the region, it also promotes artists from across Canada as well as international artists. The Gallery exhibits art in a variety of media including painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography and collage. The Alma Gallery has numerous exhibitions throughout the year.

The Alma Gallery gets its name from the Heritage building (The Alma Block — 1868) in which it is located. The gallery is a unique and vibrant space within Guelph. The Alma Gallery has opened its space for receptions, concerts, readings, and other special events. Contact the gallery to book an event.

Gallery owners, Tom Dowd and Corinne Maloney, are pleased to provide the opportunity for artists to exhibit their work in a space where the public has the opportunity to see the work and to support these professionals. Mr. Dowd and Ms. Maloney are both designers in Guelph. Tom is a designer / builder and a yoga teacher. Corinne is an architect with Guelph firm L. Alan Grinham Architect Inc.
